Super Easy Red Wine Sauce

You will love this! Winexpert Burlington brings you yet another delicious (and super easy) wine recipe. You can enjoy this recipe over pork, beef, even chicken. Fool proof!
  • 1 cup of red wine
  • 2 tablespoons of cold butter, cut up in chunks
  • pinch of coarse sea salt
Place the wine in a small pot and bring to a boil over medium-high. This will allow the wine to "reduce" to about 1/4 cup, in about 8 to 10 minutes.
Next, remove the pot from heat and add the butter, mixing with a spoon until the butter is melted and thickened (about a minute). Season with the salt and serve over your cooked protein or even leftover meats. Enjoy!
